There was a lot of draft material used at the beginning when little or none of it was officially released. The only parts left under the gentlepersons agreement are the Monsters and Psionics.
I've seen monsters in many a module. And Bruce Cordell's "If thoughts could kill" and Kevin Kulp's "Of sound mind" were early adopters of the unofficially released Psionics rules.
I would suspect (although what do I know) that we won't see the monsters officially released until the revised SRD is released. Why have staff vetting a document that's going to be superceded in 5 months?
(BTW would that mean that publishers would have to change all of the monster stats where applicable in PDFs and later printings of print products?)
