I know the simple answer is, "No". Therefore I will rephrase it thus:I believe that Brad Thompson did such a system.
Has anyone managed to develop a VP/WP system that is functionally
compatible with the base d20 or d20 Modern SRDs and has been released as
OGC and is not in violation of WoTC's copyrights; and, if not, does
anyone have any feedback on whether or not such a system could be
designed?
Also, you could replace "wound points" with "Constitution Points" and let Hit points stay hit points, and it'd be easy enough to adapt it. (Plus it'd make psionic combat a bit nastier.) Seems a bit more elegant way to do the whole "hit points don't draw blood" thing, IMO.
To follow up on that, would using language such as "If you use VitalityMaybe. Maybe you could just re-do it the same way that the expereince chart can be changed--label the variants, but don't tell people what to do with them.
& Wounds in your campaign, adjust character stats by X, monster stats by
Y, and weapon damage by Z" constitute a violation?
This actually has become a point of discussion with myself and myWhat! You have collaborators? Aw, man. Maybe I should just get a "permanently poor" tattoo on my forehead or something...
collaborators, and I think it's time to heed the voices of experience.
