With the advent of 3.5, an interesting fact just occured to me: The Beast creature type will *never* be released under the OGL.
Now, my thinking is that since Beast is simply removed, it's *not* being released is irrelevant, and anyone continuing to use it (like me) won't have any problems. However, per the Gentleman's Agreement, anything currently in an unreleased section that is later removed and/or changed should also be removed and/or changed in derived work.
