One big advantage to releasing under the OGL is that other companies could
release products dual-statted for d20 and Action!, just like Village of
Briarton. If they do so that would increase exposure of the Action! system
and perhaps draw some of those customers who prefer point-based character
construction to your game. Also, while a company might have a hard time
justifying the expense of producing an Action! only product, the added sales
of dual-statting for d20 could help some third party Action! products make
it to market; this would give your current fans more support material to
choose from.

The annoying bit will likely be that even if you do release under WotC's OGL
you probably won't see much outside support; we haven't seen that much
psionics or d20 Modern material yet for example and those already have a
pretty large customer base. My guess is that you'll more likely see support
from third party PDF books since they can include some extra pages without
worrying about the print costs.

Anyway, I'd love to see the Action! system released under WotC's OGL so I'll
just repeat Ryan Dancey's "Go Mark, Go!" For what it's worth I promise I'll
update my PDF book, "Bodies and Souls: 20 Templates" to dual-stat with
Action! if you go this route.
