Has anyone cut down Long box running boards to fit a short bed pickup? I have a set of the 83" running boards that are very solid albeit with some surface rust. I also have three 66" running boards that need rust repair and welding. I can make two of the short bed runnig boardsfrom the three but that entails a lot of cutting and welding
I would prefer to cut the long ones to fit. Seems to be a simpler cut and weld job. If anyone has done this or has tips and info I would appreciate it.
