Doh! I should have remembered that there are neat little devices like this.
My old cutlass, I built the same engine than you describe and ended up with
a measured 8.9:1, perfect for the street.
That's strange...I put in my guesstimated numbers and I get something a
whole lot more dismal, like 8.4:1. What should I "expect" the deck height
to be and how thick should I expect the head gaskets to be?
The 442.com FAQ suggests that my compression should be up around 8.84:1. Is
a 22cc piston dish that dismal?
