I just got back from my friend Vince Vaughan's place. You guys have probably
seen some of his movies. Vince is into cars but not Oldsmobile's. Turns out
Vince's uncle was into Oldsmobile's in the 60's and could afford it. Vince's
uncle also was an actor. Perhaps some of the older guys will remember Robert
Vaughan who had a hit series called "The Man from U.N.C.L.E". Vince took me
over to show me his uncle's car collection and in among the Rolls Royce and
Lincoln convertible sits a 69 Hurst Olds convertible. I got to open the hood
to look at the perfectly detailed engine compartment. The inside of the car
looked like new with only 27,000 miles on it. The bill of sale was in the
glove box with all the other paper work. This car is the real thing! The
first question I had for Vince is, was the car for sale. Not at this time.
Looks like I need to get to know his uncle a little better!
