I agree that there would be melodrama by yourself because like the olds tonight your car is probably nice and original like the one on the show.  However most of the cars on the show are really junk anyway, the should have been parts cars most of the time. That being said it is a shame that such a nice car got completed like that, If it were mine I would sell the chevy motor take the money and use it to rebuild the olds motor. then i would have a respray, Wouldn't cost a ton, the metal work was already done.  Oh yeah sell the grotesque rims and put the stock ones on.  Foose rims and the crate motor would cover most of the  restoration.  Would try my luck first with the idiots at Barret Jackson auctions, those dummies would probably pay rediculous money for a foose project.  Then go buy a nice pure correct olds and enjoy it.

The American public is dumb enough to think that someone would fall for all
of the stuff on that show?? He does some nice work, but am I the only one
who thinks there is some melodrama going on?

No end to the problems he would have if it was my car!!!

So right now I'm watching Overhaulin's Chip Foose take a very nice '72
Cutlass convertible and put a Ch*vy crate motor in it, along with the
usual "custom" paint job and oversized wheels. Plus he threw away the
stock grilles and stuck some 4-4-2 pieces in there for some reason. Why he
would do this on a very nice rustfree original car is beyond me.

Sucks.
