Karen,

I may have missed an earlier email, but do you have front or rear fender antenna?  Is it power?  Can you tell if the antenna shaft is crimped where it goes into the bottom section?

 

I have used KANO KROIL to unfreeze many rusted bolts, pressed on parts and similar mechanical assemblies.  Great stuff, very expensive, but I have found it works.  You can only get it from the manufacturer.
