I was just thinking the other day what will happen to
our cars if this gets perfected/affordable?

I personally feel BigBro WANTS to get rid of the old
cars (falsely saying they pollute) because you can't
get big tax $$ from people who keep their cars :-)

Will we end up scrapping our old cars? Karen

Nah, we can foil the EPA nuts by running alcohol, when and if it's readily available. I won't even think seriously about E85 or straight alcohol until I'm sure it'll be easy to find, then I'll build an engine specifically for it (alcohol has less specific energy, but you can get horsepower back by upping the compression, because alcohol is high octane.) If it comes down to it, I'll *make* alcohol myself, though it'll limit driving the car to what I can produce. Remember, there are people out there with Olds Curved Dashes, and other turn-of-the-century autos...

On digest mode, so I'm a little slow...
