Vlc is here because we use it as a phonon backed, second we decided to use it as a replace for ROMP. Sad is that you just came 5 mins ago, and tries to start new flame war, because some things does not fit you and what you have imagined. Shape of current 2014 was discussed every week starting 2013 December, people were doing decisions based on meritocracy and common vote. I'm trying to explain to you what was decided on history, and you treat it like my OWN decisions, which is false, and attack me then. I give you a piece of advice, such attitude which you are presenting won't change world, and even this make things goes even on wrong direction. There is still sometime, and I feel we can discuss this vlc issue, and if there won't be any blockers to switch to smplayer or whatever else than yes why not.
