Hi Nicco :)

maybe it's an VBox an dump and stupid testcenario, but it's for the user
the easiest possible /cenario who it's possible for fast and easy testing an an actual OS.. it's clear, to be not the best technical/tactical possible for view, how it's run, and how fast it is, but for the normal user an through out usable medium, that he also used ..
at first to be see, whether it is also usable for it, this, dont forget..
and the mass it is easy the normal User, the 2.nd it is the Technical Peoples
and at last also the programmers ..
but all around mus it works, in real Hardware and in VBox.. you see :)
it's maybe the badest hardcore worst scenario for you as kernel Builder, but..

buddy, i know, you can do it ;) *bg*

how ever, the Users .. no, the most users test it in an vm at first, then on real hardware if works for they are.. you see, this is why VBOX mus be include in the test, to works well also in vbox, to be the peoples to be works also well for they are .. to be they are able for see, to be the best system for they are and they are see, he dont mus trust only, they are can know it.. to be the best for they are..
with test before in an vm.. and don't need an pure trust in "voit" words ;)

best regards
Blacky

Considerations (perhaps this text. or with a few small modification, can be used for our wiki)

Trying an OS with VBox must be considered enough to see the graphic theme and the disposal of the menu and the programs inside, none can be said about the OS guest responsiveness and reactiveness!!!

When people install, test and review only in Virtualbox then pretending to judge speed of the virtualized OS only from that virtual environment is like being a useless and stupid test:

a> if a fast and responsive OS like OM Lx 2014 is hosting many OS running as guests, for example like in our Demo showed at Linux Tag, all guest OSes can be running blazing fast or at least as native, and sometimes they can work also faster than natively...

b> on the contrary if a slow Host OS as Ubuntu or Mageia start running a very fast and responsive OS like OM Lx 2014 in guest mode, it's absolutely impossible for the virtualized OS to show its real capacity and responsiveness as this behaviour is depending for the most part from the Host inner capacity...

bye, NicCo
