Agree that nobody uses them, save building time, etc., but when you have really to do a deep debug of a package (ok it's a rare event, one time every 10000, etc.), and you need not only the package-debug, but also the debug packages of the libraries it uses, how you could do? Maybe once per month (every two months, three months) and so, the debug could be built or in the final release.
