First if we noticed that some cruical software fails, and it needs a real dubug, then i thin it would be easier to enablebuilding debuginfo packages on abf and... that's all. Building -debuginfo on some specific period, means that ABF should run a constant mass-rebuild which is even more against idea to reduce resources and bandwith.
