I think it's quite important to have a more recent, less dull and some new
stuff in a distro release if we're gonna give away usb sticks this year.

I have two things of work on technical stuff in preparation of FOSDEM, the
first being finalizing the image creating process etc. for the Moondrake
(yes, not OMV) Wandboard media center, and also isos using the classical
installer, incorporating all of bug updates, additonal fixes, while all
work I've done on drakx* tools, urpmi/perl-URPM over the last year, and
this will be released as Moondrake GNU/Linux also rather than OMV.
Considering Raphaël has offered for the association to officially support
the project/distro, I antiicipate that people won't be too upset about what
I'll prepare in time for FOSDEM, for which thanks to Raphaël's personally
sposoring my trip out of his own pocket (if anyone else would feel as
generous and find my attendane valuable enough, both myself and Raphaël
would appreciate this btw., but i won't go on begging much more beyond
that, beyond expressing my gratitude and greatfulness towards Raphaël and
his will to aid me9 I seem to be attending this year after all, and as i
expect that we'll have some usb sticks this year as well to hand out, i
would think if would be good to have both omv & mdk usb sticks to
distribute, especially since the latter is more updated and with new
functionality, features and far more recent versions of our own in-house
developed tools, for which i'll be more than willing to tell and answer
questions about.

For this release, i would as i said above, merge all the stuff (all my work
done privately since may 2013, so it'll be quite an update and more recent
to what's been in the omv releases which has been shipping neglibly
improved/developed over that period) that i'm in the process of merging
back to cooker.
i will also try find the time to finish integrate some of the features I've
discussed here, that's yet only resides in my source repos, while awaiting
final preparations for being included.

Blackcrack, would this satisfy what you'd like to see in this release?
For the background you mentioned by Arvi, I'm not sure which you refer to,
Arvi was very fond of the existing one in Moondrake, and didn't think of
there being a need for changing it at all, so I'm not sure if you refer to
some other background or not.
But I will most certainly still continue to include his tuxlets theme
avatars, which I think of as a nice way to honour him, but including names
of deceased in the release code name, is something i'm principally is
against of and something that can easily be found in more or less poor
taste by some, I'd rather place some dedication somewhere else...

If these plans for preparing a release in time for FOSDEM sounds
satisfactory to people, and noone will object to distributing it together
with OMV usb keys at the stand, I will start work on preparing this.

Any comments? Suggestions? :)
