Hearing everyone's arguments for this, I think calling it Pre-Alpha or Tech 
Preview or Raw Draft, whatever you'd like to name it, is probably better than 
Alpha at this stage, and could justify it better at FOSDEM.

Cooker people, thoughts? It would be easier also to use this to promote the 
tools used to build this release.
