I'm going to try some more testing/dithering before voting myself but I
would be more comfortable if this release wasn't labeled Alpha but
something like Pre-Alpha or Tech Preview in order to get it out there
publicly and hopefully get more people to help us solve problems. That
may also make it easier to explain to Linux public at large why we're
releasing without KDE desktop.
I'd suggest Raw Draft release.

New LXQt is more a temporary desktop, awaiting for KF5, so there's
nothing really new which will be featured in final release.
Sadly enough, also LXQt is not working at the best; rpmdrake is not
working, nor some other tools (please see bugzilla reports)

Hearing everyone's arguments for this, I think calling it Pre-Alpha or Tech
Preview or Raw Draft, whatever you'd like to name it, is probably better
than Alpha at this stage, and could justify it better at FOSDEM.

Cooker people, thoughts? It would be easier also to use this to promote the
tools used to build this release.

This bug https://issues.openmandriva.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1028 is opened for
two months, and nobody hesitiated to fix this.

Does it looks like nobody cares ? Wasn't you all informed that first, alpha
was about to be released on december, then it got delayed to 15 january, and
now we are going to FOSDEM with empty hands.

I know that everybody are busy, but i'm not going to do fix all bugs by
mysellf.
Frustration mode off.

I can understand you ;)
