You are close, but you need to go to the "Users" page in WATO, and there is a 
button that says "LDAP Settings":

Connection Settings
After enabling the connector, a new context button "LDAP Settings" is rendered 
on the WATO "Users" page. This dialog can be used to configure and test your 
LDAP configuration. At least the LDAP Server and Directory Type have to be 
configured.
By default the LDAP connection is an anonymous one. This might work with some 
LDAP servers, but in most cases you need to authenticate with the LDAP server 
to be able to read users and groups. This is done by using the "LDAP Bind 
Credentials". You have to provide the distinguished name and the password of a 
user account that has the privileges to list users and groups. The 
distinguished name is the exact path to the user account within the LDAP 
directory, like for example CN=svc-multisite,OU=Users,DC=corp,DC=de.
