Regarding (1) OpenStack release names, please refer to https://releases.openstack.org/.
There is no overlapping from A to S based on public information. They haven’t decided naming starting from T yet. Based on their naming convention https://governance.openstack.org/tc/reference/release-naming.html, i.e. the location of where the OpenStack Summit will be, the probability of overlapping starting from T is also very low. Hope it helps. Agree that both are very manageable. We would want to ensure that each city picked has a widely recognized landmark to anchor on. Obviously both of these are very manageable, just things to be aware of.
