[Winona Online Democracy]

I join with Steve in congratulating the teachers, staff and
administrators in the Winona Area Public Schools for their dedication
and hard work in making our schools not only academically challenging
but also nurturing and supportive for all of our students. This has
been an extremely difficult year for our employees at all levels and
in all positions and they have performed at a very high level. The
successes and achievements of our students and staff demonstrates
our commitment to quality education for all of our community. We all
need to take time to celebrate the outstanding educational
opportunities we have in our community.
