I must agree with Rick. The style should be preserved, perhaps with indenting. People like me, who do not already have a familiarity with the subject, will benefit by having things spelled out discretely. Not a tutorial, mind you, just some specific explanation. As an example, I do not know the difference between ACTIVE and PASSIVE, and a hint of what they mean would be helpful, although too much text would be worse than too little.
