Better yet, let the kernel/x.org integrated driver be a basic, generic, dri/xaa driver with any architecturally different solution at least for the time being external. There seems to be a willingness in x.org at least to consider substantial changes to the X model and this card and driver might be a very good testing ground, but I do believe any such changes should come from there, not this project directly.
