Welcome to the world of copyright laws.

How about:
(8) Traversal Technology does not require an exclusive copyright to your
work. However, if you do wish do make a contribution, Traversal
Technology does need to have the full rights to use, modify, distribute
and relicense your Modification under the terms above.
At your discretion, you are encouraged to add comments to
the "contributions" section of this Work, indicating the nature of your
Modification.
As i said before, we do not need the full copy right as long
as we are granted the right to use, modify and relicense.
In those countries where copyright cannot be signed over, this
is the only way. In countries where we "need" the copyright,
the right to use, modify, relicense should be enough.
I'm not aware of any law that would restrict us in some unpredicted
way if we do it like this. If someone else is, please point me to
the law text of the coutnry in question.
