Yes, but I THINK we picked this pin-count so that we could stick on a 5000 if we wanted. > > > (1) LatticeXP LFXP15E (188 I/O) 256-pin fpBGA (17x17mm) > > > Memory: > [...] > > > DVI-Out: > > (2) Silicon Image SiI178 64-pin TQFP > > Using just 2 SiI178 means that we either have two DVI connectors > with each having single link or one DVI connecter having dual link. > > I think some time ago we agreed that we build a card with dual screen. > If that is still valid then that would mean that we limit OGD/OGA > to a certain maximal resolution. But that's not what we were planning to put into the ASIC. He's having to make executive decisions based on what is practical to do with the layout tools he has. > > [...] > > > > DVI-In: > [...] > > What is the reason in having DVI-In ? This is just for OGD, and it's something that Andy really wants on there. We all agree that it would be NICE to have it. But it's also probable that we just won't populate the parts on most models of OGD. Having the _potential_ for video-in increases the market for OGD. > > > > Analog-Out: > [...] > > Looks ok, just that it looks like one screen only. Yup. Can you make an argument for supporting multiple legacy analog? That lots of people have multiple CRT's? :) This is a hard call. > > > Power Supply (x3): > [...] > > Looks ok too. > > > > > TV-out: > [...] > > Huge list of parts. I believe TV-out was much higher on the list of demands from the community than was video-in. > Other than that, i didn't spot any connector that looks > like an expansion connector or anything. There are parts missing from this list. _______________________________________________ Open-graphics mailing list [email protected] http://lists.duskglow.com/mailman/listinfo/open-graphics List service provided by Duskglow Consulting, LLC (www.duskglow.com)
