Noted.  We were just a little too early with that one.  That was about
two years ago.

However, I think the embedded landscape is still good for a OGD.  For
years the defacto embedded VGA chips were the asiliant 69000 and
69030.  Feb of 04 they wen't lifetime buy.    The fab that made the
dies phased out the process for a smaller pitch.  Asiliant is
basically an IP company with little design power.  So they were unable
to turn a new chip based on a smaller process.   There was a serious
void there for a bit but no Silicon Motion with thier 7XX family of
chips appears to be taking the the place of the 69030.

The 69030 was a great chip.  Although you still had to have a legacy
bios to post the chip the chipset docs are available on-line with no
NDA and they were cheap.
