The Scribus team was the one speaking of colour calibration and
correctness. However, TheGimp and Inscape artists alike obviously need
every colour feature available too.

I can easily answer that : they do not need OGD1 at all except _maybe_ to
validate how their software works on it, and that's something we may not be
able to do ourselves since, well, I suspect that no one of us routinely uses
Scribus/Inkscape/whatever as intensively as they do. I do not see OGD1 used
in a Scribus / Inkscape / TheGimp production environment, but I might be
wrong.
However, they want OGC1.

If it is too difficult to do this on OGD1, and if we can make sure we have
it on OGC1, then so be it. Waiting for OGD2/OGC2 does not sound like a good
idea.
