The Scribus team was the one speaking of colour calibration and correctness. However, TheGimp and Inscape artists alike obviously need every colour feature available too. > The question, then, is whether they need to have this working for OGD1. I can easily answer that : they do not need OGD1 at all except _maybe_ to validate how their software works on it, and that's something we may not be able to do ourselves since, well, I suspect that no one of us routinely uses Scribus/Inkscape/whatever as intensively as they do. I do not see OGD1 used in a Scribus / Inkscape / TheGimp production environment, but I might be wrong. However, they want OGC1. > If not, and you can confidently verify the logic for the extra bits without > implementing them on OGD1, then they could be deferred to OGC1 or an OGD2. If it is too difficult to do this on OGD1, and if we can make sure we have it on OGC1, then so be it. Waiting for OGD2/OGC2 does not sound like a good idea. _______________________________________________ Open-graphics mailing list [email protected] http://lists.duskglow.com/mailman/listinfo/open-graphics List service provided by Duskglow Consulting, LLC (www.duskglow.com)
