Before we can sell our first OGD1 boards, one major thing we need to deal with is becoming a PCI SIG member. I don't know if we'd be violating any laws to use someone else's (like Tech Source's, although I really don't want to ask), but I'm sure it's not the right thing to do.
The problem is that the SIG membership is like $2000 or $3000 per year. That's a lot for Andy, Howard, and me to pay when we haven't sold first product. I'm wondering if we couldn't have OHF formalized by the end of summer. We could have product ready to sell as early as August (as late as November, I'm guessing). If OHF could get some donations, they could be the SIG member. What do you think? I don't want to be a leech on the OHF. I'm just figuring that Traversal will become a source of donations for OHF once we're grown and made some profit, so I don't see it as being a huge problem if OHF helps Traversal too. _______________________________________________ Open-graphics mailing list [email protected] http://lists.duskglow.com/mailman/listinfo/open-graphics List service provided by Duskglow Consulting, LLC (www.duskglow.com)
