no the difference is the bandwith in the color information.

IIRC Most (All? - if we ignore the 50/60Hz issue) of the differences between different PAL modes are the bandwidth between the video signal & the sound. Since the OG cards don't do sound, it's immaterial. They'll only be outputting video anyway. So you can immediately scratch half that list.
