svn works pretty much the same like cvs. It is so similar, that you can
consider it a drop in replacement, do s/cvs/svn/g and be done with it.
The biggest differences ar, that it has no explicit branch handling
(they are implicit by copying to a different directory) and that
all commits are atomic even if they touch different files. I'm quite
sure you'll like it.
