For me the reasons seem okay (I am myself fighting with a PowerVR in
Atom), but when the performance out of 3W is compared to 100W i7, it
seems quite as vaporware :)
Also, I do not feel quite right, when somebody wants to accelerate
1080p30 a software way, using 8x 800MHz cores.. even at 3W, it is a
waste. The video standards (h264) are pretty closed, so just choose a
level you want to support and do it with some mW of power.
What do other from this list think?
