It seems that the author is participating in the slashdot thread. i read something like "his mentor works for Samsung and it's just a matter of assembling logic bricks that already exist". Also I have the feeling that he thinks more about a "FSF endorsABLE" than "FSF endorsED" archi: I see no mention, nowhere, that he's in contact with the FSF or that the source code will be released under a free licence. it's just an endeavour to have the doc without NDA. And he'll use tons of proprietary interfaces and licenses for his "bricks".
