For all practical purposes, Microsoft Windows is the equivalent of free
since users must go significantly out of their way not to obtain a copy
with every machine they buy.

It doesn't matter that OpenAFS is not a part of the Windows operating
system. The OpenAFS supporters are not running around claiming that the
reason you should use NFSv4 is because it is integrated into the OS by
the OS vendor.
