Since the web server definitely gets involved here, I'd try running your code directly from OpenBD alone if you can (i.e. hit the port on which your servlet container is running and include the context path, e.g. http://server:8080/openbd) to eliminate the web server from the equation. When I tested locally and things work for me, I wasn't using a web server but was hitting Tomcat directly. Can you elaborate on your installation/configuration of OpenBD, i.e., how did you install things and what version of OpenBD are you using? Also what OS is this running on? I found some info that might shed some additional light on things, but I personally didn't have to do any of this to get it working. http://www.petefreitag.com/item/305.cfm http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/showthread.php?t=473374 I also just tried all the other feed URLs you provided and they all worked OK for me. If all else fails you'll probably have to enlist the assistance of WireShark or some other network sniffing tool to try and see what's going on. Hope that gives you some additional things to try. I'm particularly curious what happens if you eliminate the web server from the equation and hit OpenBD directly. -- Matthew Woodward [email protected] http://blog.mattwoodward.com identi.ca / Twitter: @mpwoodward Please do not send me proprietary file formats such as Word, PowerPoint, etc. as attachments. http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/no-word-attachments.html -- Open BlueDragon Public Mailing List http://www.openbluedragon.org/ http://twitter.com/OpenBlueDragon official manual: http://www.openbluedragon.org/manual/ Ready2Run CFML http://www.openbluedragon.org/openbdjam/ mailing list - http://groups.google.com/group/openbd?hl=en
