Sorry, I am a bit late on this discussion ! In general I am happy with the foundation documents, but a couple of comments:
Licence - I would have thought the LGPL or GPL would be a better licence to use. Board - I am happy that the board members propose new members from the Core list. I think the proposal to demote people from the board that have not taken part in three votes in three months is a good one. I wonder if there should be a policy on "Potential Funding" and how the Project manages this. I am thinking of EU type funding for project development (e.g. funding to develop an online CA based on existing code or an OpenCA timestamping server). How would the funding be managed ? How would it be distributed amongst the developers ? Do we want it ? I am proposing this as I am not a developer but may have access to EU money and have projects in mind !!!
