Adrian: I will arrange to get the old UFP mail archive back to the UFP
server when it is ready. Perhaps when I go home towards the end of June
(I don't have a copy of the archive with me here at uni).
Alain : If no one offers to do so until the end of june, then I will
take you up on your offer.
Adrian : Is there anyone who has kept a copy of messages to this list?
Alain : Good question! I, for one, would appreciate recuperating my
past messages. I had intended to scour through them to extract useful
informations, like handlers and guidelines for example, because these
things are often discussed but frequently not added to our web site.
Someone : I have them ( OODL messages ). Remember, I posted them to the
OODL page. I still have all of them. I also have UFP messages, for that
matter.
Alain : Who wrote this ?
Adrian : In my discussions with Scott to get this list set up, he
mentioned that it was possible to combine the old archives with the
new, automatically created archives.
Alain : What format do these archives have to be in ?
Adrian : Is this worth doing?
Alain : I think so ( slightly biased ! ).
