 we need to stay compatible with HyperCard. That means we need certain
button styles. I think the problem you have is that a HyperCard button is
not necessarily a Windows or MacOS button. It is a clickable object that
draws and highlights, and gets messages.

 I'd suggest you look at HyperCard to get the picture, I'm sure it won't
sound all that hard later.

 Of course, we could introduce vector graphics later, but as always,
*first* we need to get our 100% HyperCard version out the door. Then we can
add features.
