Alain,

there are stick-on labels that have the exact shape of a CD-ROM. You just
put the sheet into your printer, print some cool artwork on the sticker,
take it off the sheet and stick it on the CD. I've done this several times.

>Alain : Solved!

I don't think stuffing the files on the CD would be a solution. I prefer
having uncompressed files on the CD since then I don't have to unstuff e.g.
all of CodeWarrior just to restore a broken Types.r file. Besides,
CodeWarrior comes uncompressed on one CD, I don't think our CD will fill up
as quickly (after all, CW contains all of the Universal headers, PowerPlant
and more!). The other two CW CDs are only the Windows version and the docs.

I don't like it. It would again mean we'd have to decide who "us" is. Is
it the mailing list? Then we'd get list tourism. Is it the core group as it
exists now? That would be an unfair elite and would be a disadvantage to
contributors which later join development. Is it the people who have
contributed to OC? What is a contribution? Fixing a bug? Writing a new
component / rewriting one? I think we should allow everyone to distribute
OpenCard, but no one should be allowed to sell the OC sources, only
value-added services (pressing on CD, support, ...).

We should limit use of the name to the list, though, that is, democratic
decision on the list decides what is added to the "official" OpenCard, and
nbobody may distribute modified OpenCard sources under the official name.

Cheers,
