 OK. But does pederast mean homosexual? I'd rather associate it with
pedophile (sounds similar, but I don't know Greek).

 These are the oldest parts, and made sure HC's graphics are pretty fast
even on older Macs. Of course, if you use AddColor you don't take advantage
of that.

 Basic is still very ill regarded among programmers. It's a toy language
for beginners, and as OpenCard is meant to appeal to both beginners and
professionals, I'd speak out against it. Also, it'd be misleading to people
looking for a BASIC dialect.

 I'm from Germany, no need to tell me, but actually Volkswagen is a pretty
successful company over here (and also in the US) and especially the Beetle
has a huge followership especially in California.

 Well, I won't write it, but it's surely a possibility to provide an
interface to existing Java VMs. But this will require different code on
each platform.
