I followed the instructions. I got the trunk, applied the patch, compiled
and installed. After that I removed the NoAccel from the xorg.conf. It now
only contains Driver "OpenChrome".
The results:

1) The system is more usable. Scrolling in Firefox is normal, before it
brought tears to my eyes. System boots normally now without the NoAccel.

2) Somehow I still have DRI enabled according to "glxinfo". And I get
59FPS from GLXGEARS.
3) YouTube and other flash content on Firefox are really slow. In full
screen: a slide show.
4) I downloaded a video file and watched it full screen with Kaffeine. Not
very smooth. The video wasn't HD or even semiHD.
