Have you setenv DXMEMORY? Try 32 to start with to see if that works.
Also you or your sys admin should run systune, which helped me configure
my system to avoid the shared memory segment/failed problems.
Another thing to check is make sure there are not any other dxexec
processes that did not terminate properly and are still running.
