Maybe Suhaib can shed some light on this with the cygwin version. I
know that I have tested our version with WinaXe and it works, but the
autolaunch feature only works with version 6.1.

WinaXe is a good and not very expensive X server from http://www.labf.com. It
works very well with software rendering and has GLX extensions for opengl
codes. I am also waiting for a response from Labf about hardware rendering.
