Hello,

I have managed to get dx installed on two different x86-based machines I
work on -- the first machine runs Redhat 9.0 and dx was installed via
installation of Linux (Redhat 9.0) - OpenDX 4.3.2 from the dx website. The
second machine runs debian (Sid) and dx was installed via the "apt-get
install ..." command. Both installs run my dx-programs as expected,
however other behavior is dependent on the machine. For instance, the VPE
is completely reliable under Redhat 9.0, whereas the tab-labels in any
program with multiple pages is not rendered correctly on screen under
debian; the shortcut keys to frequently used commands (such as CTRL-C to
close the control panels) do not work under debian.

There are no problems with X11, per se, under the debian machine as far as
I can see.

How can I dx under debian for it to look/feel, behave like under redhat 9?
Any ideas?

Thanks!

-K
