Hi, From last Picnic meeting in Paris, I mainly remember the confucius sentence on a presentation from Ireland : "May you live interesting times".
In the field of health information systems we certainly are living interesting time since we are those who will allow the move from "Office keeping + databases" to "Patient Health Project". It means several HUGE changes, the main one is to distinguish between the "local" and/or "personnal" datas (situated in the health professional referential) from the continuity of care/health management datas (situated in the patient referential). The management of these 2 referentials means that you now have to manage differently (and handle with different tools) the datas with a time duration (they may get changed by someone else) and the datas of the "instantaneous picture" kind (it is what YOU noticed and reported at a given time). Lots of work remains ;o) Philippe AMELINE - If you have any questions about using this list, please send a message to d.lloyd at openehr.org
