>From what you've described that's normal. "USB Devices" should only show
devices that are plugged in via USB, not those that provide USB
connectivity. If you've got a USB device plugged into the card that isn't
working then that's something else.

Subject: [OF-users] USB Problem

Hi all

I've just installed an NEC based USB card in my Openfiler box (Onboard USB
is not working....known problem with Tyan Tiger), but it's showing up in the
hardware information as follows:

PCI Devices
- (2x) Audio device: NEC Corporation USB
- Audio device: NEC Corporation USB 2.0

while under USB in hardware information:

USB Devices none

I'm running 2.2, kernel version 2.6.17.11-1.1.smp.x86.i686.cmov (SMP)

Anyone know how to fix this?

regards

Frank
