So we didn't see this bug in 0.11.1 anymore
I am not sure if this was mitigated by either deleting the eftar or touching it

will have a look and let you know later this week

Hi,

    No workaround
    just get 0.11.1
    replace old 0.11

don't forget to replace the webapp, since that's where the fix is in (thnx
    Jens!)
Ehmm, you mean the 1350:624c2ccb2df3 "avoid eftar file test and
exception on every page access" changeset? This is just an optimization.
I think the patch for the leak hasn't made it into the osol version yet.
see 1367:cdb5b6d69abf "#19178: fix eftar fd leak" via
http://src.iws.cs.ovgu.de/source/history/opengrok-jel/

should be also somewhere in the opengrok bug DB ...

jel.

The only way to get it to work again is to bounce tomcat.
