Uli - I think Mohan and I agree on #1.
On #2, Lars intends to provide a default configuration - so a new user could start using the new simulator immediately without difficulty. I agree that a better name should be chosen - since it will not be the "new simulator" forever. I like your suggestion of "dynamic-simulator" as a name. I agree that the old simulator should stay around - the big question on the table is: Do we make the new simulator the default plug-in? Or do we leave the old simulator as the default plug-in? I think Mohan and I are in agreement (pending fixes to the new simulator for issues that Mohan has found) that it could become the new default in 2.15.0. On #3, I agree. Separate log files would be best. And it should also support a single log file if the user so chooses. But to me - this is not a show-stopper feature to prevent inclusion in 2.15.0 - which is an OpenHPI developer release. Mohan - please let us know if I've misrepresented your views. --michael Regards, Michael Bishop Enterprise Servers and Storage (ISB Linux/Telco) Hewlett-Packard Company 3404 E. Harmony Rd.
