I think Mohan and I agree on #1.

On #2, Lars intends to provide a default configuration - so a new user could 
start using the new simulator immediately without difficulty.  I agree that a 
better name should be chosen - since it will not be the "new simulator" 
forever.  I like your suggestion of "dynamic-simulator" as a name.  I agree 
that the old simulator should stay around - the big question on the table is: 
Do we make the new simulator the default plug-in?  Or do we leave the old 
simulator as the default plug-in?  I think Mohan and I are in agreement 
(pending fixes to the new simulator for issues that Mohan has found) that it 
could become the new default in 2.15.0.

On #3, I agree.  Separate log files would be best.  And it should also support 
a single log file if the user so chooses.  But to me - this is not a 
show-stopper feature to prevent inclusion in 2.15.0 - which is an OpenHPI 
developer release.

Mohan - please let us know if I've misrepresented your views.
