hmm not in my case. Maybe we've misunderstood each other:
The client will not build in Eclipse => It is impossible. There is no
lps.x.x.x.jar in the WBE-INF/lib folder, so how should that work? It
cannot generate any SWF (at least the swf8 swf's) without the
lps.x.x.x.jar no matter if debug=true or not.
