Not to mention AM is extremely susceptible to interference, and is not
made for data modulation. But being the variety of frequencies and
modulations will be being transmitted at the plane anyway (from ground),
you are unlikely to add anymore interference. And the power of the
modulators in receivers is so low you would be hard pushed to pick it
up outside the box it's in.
