I know, but that's part of the deal. The upgrade tools will read the MAC 
information from the DB, and the DB is updated after synchronizing the 
requisitions ;)

No, the tool is going to check if the interface has a MAC or not. If the 
interface has a MAC, then it will check if there are two directories for the 
same interface (one with MAC, and one without MAC), if that condition meet, 
then the interface will be scheduled to be merged.

This is an interface level operation, not a node level operation.

There is only one interface duplicate:

Its information is consistent with the DB:

Have you tried executing the upgrade tools again (i.e. execute 
/opt/opennms/bin/upgrade with OpenNMS running) after removing the reference to 
SnmpInterfaceRrdMigratorOnline in opennms-upgrade-status.properties ?

BTW, If SnmpInterfaceRrdMigratorOnline found an error while merging a 
particular interface, ONLY that interface won't be updated, but the rest should 
be updated without issues.
