It would be good if I could add some debugging to that stage - I've tried tcpdump, but it's very noisy in production :) Is it possible to enable java debug logs somehow? >Well, if you don't mind to upload to our FTP server (ftp://ftp.opennms.org) a binary dump of the DB, a .tar.gz of /opt/opennms/etc and /var/opennms/rrd, I can invest time trying to reproduce the problem locally .... Unfortunately our IT policy probably doesn't allow this :( ..but I will look into it.
